In response to the growing need for complex clinical care in our community, Northwestern Medicine is planning to add a new 1.2 million-square-foot tower to our Northwestern Memorial Hospital campus in downtown Chicago.
Opened: February 2026
Northwestern Medicine completed a 290,000-square-foot campus expansion project at Catherine Gratz Griffin Lake Forest Hospital to allow us to better serve patients and the community. The expansion was our response to the ongoing need for more patient care services and expanded access to patient care.

Northwestern Medicine is excited to be a part of improving the health and well-being of residents in Bronzeville and surrounding communities. The outpatient center will house an Immediate Care Center, primary and specialty care, lab and imaging services, physical therapy, cancer care and more.
Opened: November 2023
This outpatient center in the Northwest Side of Chicago houses an Immediate Care Center, primary and specialty care, lab and imaging services, and physical therapy.
Opened: January 2023
This 51,000-square foot medical office building has two floors of clinical space, increasing access to specialty care in the west suburbs.
