Symptoms of Presbyopia

Symptoms of presbyopia progress gradually. Early symptoms may include headaches or eyestrain when reading or doing close work, especially in dim lighting or if you are tired.

Later, you might find yourself holding reading further away to make the image clearer. Ultimately, your arm’s length may not be long enough to improve the image, and all close vision will be blurry.

Note: If close vision becomes blurry very suddenly, it could be the symptom of another, more serious condition. Seek medical attention immediately.
