Courage to Quit: Adult Smoking Cessation Program
Courage to Quit is a seven-week program that focuses on the behavioral approach to quitting smoking and offers countless techniques to learn how to live as an ex-smoker. Session information includes coping with addiction and withdrawals, nicotine-replacement therapy and medications, managing cravings, avoiding triggers, health benefits of quitting and preventing relapse.
Guidelines for Program Participation:
- 18 years of age or older
- Respect for other participants
- Current smoker with desire to be smoke free (Quit Day is week three)
- Participation (attendance and activity involvement)
