5.0 star star star star starDr Koshy engages with the patient instead of the computer. She is receptive to questions and doesn’t make you feel dumb for asking questions. She examines the patient and explain what she is doing. Very attentive and friendly. She puts you at ease. Reviews your test results and discusses in such terms that you can understand.

5.0 star star star star starShe quickly puts you at ease. You feel comfortable. She explains and no question is too dumb. She doesn’t tell you do this and do that, she actually seeks your thoughts./comments. You feel like you are working together, a team. That is a good feeling. Feeling positive after your physician appointment. Knowing your issues and feeling hopefully that you have someone who understands. She is being honest and clear, yet you feel comfortable.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Koshy was professional, thorough, and listens to my questions and answered me and took the time to explain. She advised me on different issues. A friend was with me who was having issues of her own, Dr Koshy was able to answer her question also and when she asked if she could make an appt to see her, she arranged for her to be seen even though the desk said she was not seeing new patients.

3.0 star star star star_border star_borderThe doctor was kind and professional. I just wish more detailed help was available in deciding whether to start medicine for osteoporosis. The only advantage given repeatedly is "lower probability of fracture". For instance is there any way to estimate how much that probability is lowered?

5.0 star star star star starExplain everything very well. Nice. Suggest to me to have my general physician to check my blood pressure, my top number was running a little high. I really appreciate a good doctor and she was knowledgeable.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg. To learn more about our Disclosure and Professional Integrity Policy, and the conflict of interest policies of our joint affiliate survey partners, please go to our Office for Regulatory Affairs Policies page.
