5.0 star star star star starWhile a resident started the assessment (very thorough tho), Dr Tjong kindly introduced herself, also did another assessment, and showed empathy for my pain. She also didn't push solutions on me. She made recommendations and told me it's entirely my choice.

1.0 star star_border star_border star_border star_borderShe was very nice but spent less than 5 minutes with me and was not interested in my case. In fact, gave me a potential diagnosis that if she had asked more questions would have realized (at least I hope she would have) that my symptoms were bone pain not muscle or nerve pain. Also she could care less that I have on going pain that is not in the area of the leg she works. Overall a waste of my time. I left frustrated and wanting to go to Rush or UofC.

5.0 star star star star starDr tjong has an excellent bedside manner, seemed genuinely interested in what I had to say about my injury, explained to me in clear terms what she thought, and gave me quite a bit of advice on what to do next.

5.0 star star star star starDr Tjong provides the finest & most knowledgeable assessment and treatment I’ve ever experienced. A true professional that listens, assesses & diagnoses the issue without unnecessary extensive and expensive testing. As a teaching practice, she always has a resident assistant with her who assists in the assessment and treatment plan. Her detailed explanations and hands on approach are a learning experience for the patient as well as the resident. It’s a pleasure to witness and be a part of.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg. To learn more about our Disclosure and Professional Integrity Policy, and the conflict of interest policies of our joint affiliate survey partners, please go to our Office for Regulatory Affairs Policies page.
