5.0 star star star star starBecause he is a Giant. Another Surgeon might have removed my total upper left Lung, Dr Bharat only removed the tumor, the lymph nodes surrounding the wound showed no disease. There was no reason to take more of my Lung. My breathing has not been impacted

5.0 star star star star starAs I said above, the thoroughness and realistic reassurance of his approach, left me relieved and comforted. He is taking every measure possible to understand my unusual mass and be prepared in surgery and afterwards.

5.0 star star star star starI left Dr. Bharat's office knowing that I was receiving the best possible care and would want to share my very positive experience with others. Dr. Bharat explained things in a clear and thorough manner which gave me better insight and knowledge of my pre and post surgical care and also provided me with great comfort in moving forward.

5.0 star star star star starHe did my surgery successfully, as he mentioned in my 1st appointment. The only thing can be improved is, he could have talk with me before or after surgery which would have helped me to feel calm from surgery fear.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg. To learn more about our Disclosure and Professional Integrity Policy, and the conflict of interest policies of our joint affiliate survey partners, please go to our Office for Regulatory Affairs Policies page.
