Dr. Liddy was very thorough in explaining my diagnosis based on the information she had and the next steps that needed to be taken. Dr. Whitney was prompt, professional and thorough. She fully discussed the surgery that she would tentatively be performing as well as the protocol for the day of surgery. She used a laryngyscope to verify that my vocal cords are functioning and performed an ultrasound of my neck to locate the parathyroid adenoma at issue since the images from NorthShore Endeavor were not available to her online, though the reports were. I was comfortable enough to select her (and Northwestern) over the previous doctor I had seen.

Her "bedside manner" is outstanding! She is kind, easy to talk to, and thorough in her explanations, yet easy to understand. She called me a couple times prior to surgery rather than simply using MyChart which would have been quicker and easier for her. I very much appreciated her kindness in doing so. I can't speak more highly of her!

Dr Liddy is outstanding! She completed a complicated surgery to remove a tumor without any nerve or facial damage. She messaged me on the weekend to let me know the tumor was benign. Her communication is easy to understand and friendly. I felt that I was in very good hands with Dr Liddy.
