3.0 star star star star_border star_borderSee above. Needs to be able to easily, quickly, and comfortably help non-heterosexual patients, not act surprised or assume about such matters, & should ASK about those things & then refresh her memory if she had asked before, so a patient isn’t made uncomfortable. I also would appreciate better coordination & assistance with contact, prescriptions, & scheduling. I was, in effect, punished for the lack of timely available appointments by not being provided with medically necessary medications as a result of the delay. Please fix this & make it easy to get prescriptions, information, & communication, as well as handling scheduling better. There should be a way to schedule through MyChart, & the Dr should help facilitate scheduling ordered tests/etc., rather than giving patients number upon number to call to schedule. There should be a more trauma informed approach & one that is cognizant of how difficult this system is for disabled people like me to manage. I would also appreciate heated speculums, & it would be really nice to be provided appropriate pain treatment if a procedure is going to be painful.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Turner is my favorite doctor! I am a super anxious person and she always makes me feel calm, comfortable and heard. She genuinely cares and takes her time making sure all questions are answered. Dr. Turner saw me in the hospital after I gave birth to my son and she performed my son’s circumscion so I will always have a special place in my heart for her.

5.0 star star star star starDr Turner is one of the best doctors I’ve had. Her approach was kind while being informative and direct. It meant a lot how she included me in the decision making process and how much she endured I felt comfortable moving forward.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Turner was friendly, knowledgeable, attentive, kind and encouraging. I learned from her that I can have a trial of labor for a VBAC and I was so happy to hear that and relieved. She helped me understand the process of all my prenatal appointments and answered all of my questions, and gave me plenty of info that I’m glad to know. I know I won’t necessarily see her again in the group practice, but I really liked her and hope that I do.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Ashley Marie Turner is a wonderful example of the good experiences I have had. She actually was the admitting Dr. for when I went into labor, and even for this recent appointment on [ ], she was very kind, thorough, and professional. When discussing my exam and questions about natural birth control or family planning, she was open, honest, and non-judgmental about my questions and choices. Which I greatly appreciated and told her about because unfortunately, I've been met with the exact opposite by other members of the medical staff when I attempted to ask for more information about my health and options. When needing to make any other OBGYN appointments, Dr. Turner is one of the medical staff I would personally request.
