5.0 star star star star starShe seems to care about me very much. Thinks about what will be best for me, takes me inputs, and convenes with others for ideas too. She listens to my feedback and also answers every question myself or my partner has about anything we're curious about.

5.0 star star star star starDr Abaza runs a knowledgeable, successful, efficient and caring oncology office. Her PA-C, Katheryn [last name] is exceptional in all aspects of the practice. She should teach a course in how PAs should perform their jobs. She is extremely knowledgeable about her subject and has a terrific bedside manner.

5.0 star star star star starMy wife and I were very impressed and appreciative of how Dr Abaza handled our initial meeting. Very knowledgeable and very clear in discussing my concerns while clearly taking charge in going back to square one to establish a plan going forward.

5.0 star star star star starAlthough I had to wait a little bit, because Dr. Abaza was making rounds before my appointment, as always, it was worth the wait. Her bedside demeanor can't put at rest during a meeting that can be very emotional. Her ability to articulate what is transpiring in her patient allows for the patient and the professional to develop a plan of care. Her wealth of knowledge is very evident throughout this process. I am lucky to have her on my Care Team.

5.0 star star star star starShe is the complete package - she hears me, answers my questions, and makes sure I am onboard with everything I need to do to get well so that I'm not off roading with a holistic substitute that would not be effective. And she honored me by taking seriously the holistic pieces I brought with me, and very wisely told me what to keep and what hold during treatment. And it's all been quite successful!

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg. To learn more about our Disclosure and Professional Integrity Policy, and the conflict of interest policies of our joint affiliate survey partners, please go to our Office for Regulatory Affairs Policies page.
