5.0 star star star star starDr Farina has lots of patience! He spoke directly to my mother, not to me. He's very respectful. He has a comforting voice. He asks questions with a genuine concern. He did not hurry through the appointment, ensured all questions were answered. He's very honest and encourages patience to be involved in their care and decisions. He's obviously very knowledgeable about his field of gastroenterology. I would recommend him to anyone that needs a G.I. physician. Thank you Dr. Farina!

5.0 star star star star starPersonable, very transparent... I feel I was more informed than I usually am going into a medical procedure. This, despite not really coming up with a definitive diagnosis yet. I feel more engaged with my own health and related decisions.

5.0 star star star star starThis is a man steeped in research, on the heals of a master teacher - John [last name]- who is knowledgeable, proud of his work, ready to follow up, scales answers up and down based on my level of knowledge, and spends the time needed to make me more comfortable with managing my disease.

5.0 star star star star starMy doctor was extremely compassionate and VERY knowledgeable about my health situation. He was most concern about another area of my health situation and took an opportunity to help by recommending another doctor to look into my situation. NM is lucky to have him. I wished he practiced in Palos/Orland more often.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Farina is fantastic. He is always timely with messages and follow-ups. He listens very well and takes into consideration what the patient wants to do, while also taking time to explain things thoroughly. He has continued to offer testing and treatment to me over the course of a year where it has been difficult to determine the root of an issue for me. I have gotten stressed at times due to uncertainty and discomfort, and every time I speak with Dr. Farina I feel so much better to have been heard and to have him offer new ideas and information. He is extremely personable and I can tell he cares.
