Ratings and Reviews
At Northwestern Medicine, our patient’s feedback is important to us. While different care providers have their own unique strengths, we strive to be as transparent as possible with our quality of care.
Dr Matthew,Erica and all employees-from the time you enter the building and reception area. They are all very courteous. And getting a appointment operators ,front desk and PCAs & related Employees are professional and kind.Dr Matthew gives me excellent care always. In addition Erica always calls meback same day, when I'm not feeling wellor having concerns.
She actually cares about her patients and she examined my pain and my body condition health wise and realized the intense pain I am in. She gave me steps to take and suggestions which I took and pursed them. I highly recommended her
In the past I have met dismissive doctors regarding the pain I am feeling. She was warm and kind and very empathetic. She was onboard with my decision I didn't want to keep the wait and see pattern I've been in for 8 weeks. I liked that she listened and her answers helped assure me I had been taking the right steps leading up to this appointment.
I would definitely recommend Dr. Mathew. She has been most helpful in addressing chronic issues with my spine. I appreciate her attention and professionalism, and that she always offers a range of treatment options.
The Doctors are Great!! The surgery center procedure room staff not so much. During my Shot procedure on August 20th my left foot was fractured when it hit a railing. I know I was moving around during the procedure that's probably why the railing was up. I was pretty out of it because I was coming out of anesthesia but remember hitting my foot on the railing. Why wasn't the railing put down for me to get off the table. The manager of the Surgery Center said no one saw anything which sounds even worse. Was no one watching me getting off the table???? I got an x-ray the following Monday after going to Dr. Ignatius. They said no foot bone injury. So 2 weeks later I go to Dr. Matthew for follow up and she sends me to Dr. Cisko. That takes another week to see her. So on September 10th Dr. Cisko says she thinks I have a hairline fracture or 2 and that's why it still hurts so much. I am NOT going to sue anyone!! I would just like a little something for me PAIN and SUFFERING. I now have to stay off my foot for three weeks. I am a realtor and I can't work if I can't walk. FYI, If I need more shots in my back, I would go back to Dr Matthew and the surgery center. Accidents do happen and maybe I moved too fast, who knows. Sincerely, Mary Ann Manna
I just truly love all of the services which I have received from Nothwestern Medicine Staffing. Dr. Vinita Matthew is Excellent, Skilled, Knowledgeable, Sincere, Kind, as well as a medical doctor friend.
Dr. Mathew takes her time to make herself familiar with my reason for visit prior to entering the exam room. She take time to talk with me and ask additional questions and presents her opinions and any options for treatment. I am a returning patient.
Dr Matthew is very professional, direct.Patient relatable and helps me manage. My neuropathy and pain very well..In addition pleasant bed side manor..I am very confident in here directions.Of care.I am fortunate to have Dr Matthew.as my physiatrist. She really cares about.my quality of care.
Dr Mathew is very thorough, friendly and understands my issues. She makes my trigger point and nerve block appointments very soothing when I'm nervous about needles..I'm bringing my daughter to her for similar issues.
Dr Mathew was SUPER approachable and friendly. She made sure I understood every aspect of my situation as well as the plan for treatment. She didn't rush through ANY part of my visit, and took extra time to go over my MRI results with me. I had a GREAT visit......
The doctor was extremely informative, explained everything before and during test. It was helpful because she knew it was an uncomfortable test and by communicating all the way through it made it easier to tolerate. She was very good at her job, and friendly too!
Dr. Mathew is everything a doctor should be. She listens, asks pertinent questions, states what treatment options are, stating pros and cons, gives her recommendation and explains why and then asks if I understand and what do I think/prefer. There is also no pressure to accept her recommendation, and I actually felt encouraged to freely discuss and choose. You should be proud to have her on staff.. I had worked for a large health care organization, and if they would have more caring doctors as Dr. Mathew their health care experience would be among the top in the country (which they never were).
