5.0 star star star star starDr. Kadow has been great from the start. She’s calm, very knowledgeable and thorough. She explained the process every step of the way. She really listened and took my concerns seriously. I was sure that I broke my elbow along with my wrist. So she ordered additional X-rays and even double checked before surgery to make nothing was missed. And at the post surgery appointment she remembered and asked about my elbow.

5.0 star star star star starShe did a great job fixing a very bad Dupuytren’s Contracture on my finger and palm. Her concern and approachable attitude as well as taking time to address my concerns made me feel comfortable with the decision to have the surgery and to be patient with the recovery process.

5.0 star star star star starShe was very thorough in her examination and clearly explained what was happening. She answered all my questions and explained options, providing why she wanted to start with a cortisone shot rather than going right to surgery. She explained what I might expect both if the treatment works or doesn't work. She was very personable.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Kadow clearly described my diagnosis, delineated what my options are, and developed a plan of action going forward; she exhibited great skill in giving me a painless injection into a painful joint.

4.0 star star star star star_borderI appreciated the care I received by Dr Kato. My case was not very involved, a slight break in my wrist. She was kind, engaged, respectful and professional. The PT that did my cast was also very good. I am definitely pleased with the care I received. Because this case was not so involved, I am giving an 8. If I had more extensive needs, I would be able to provide a better/more complete recommendation.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Kadow is an excellent surgeon. She has done three surgeries on my hands with marked improvement in function in both hands. I would not look for another hand surgeon if I ever have a future need.I have every confidence in Dr. Kadow and highly recommend her to others.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
