5.0 star star star star starIf Northwestern Medicine had a Hall of Fame, Dr Engel would be in it. Superb medical and social skills. However, he may have missed his true calling, which is stand up comedian. You are truly blessed to have him on staff.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Engel finds out how am I doing in the different categories. He knows what the effect of certain medicines are and he will prescribe them. He has helped me with getting up to go to the bathroom as much as he can. He knows I have to help myself with some behavior. Dr. Engel is a pretty good listener. I appreciate that.

5.0 star star star star starWell, doctor Engel was very helpful today, helpful to the condition and the swelling and the pain that I had working along with doctor kent and other doctors quickly assess the situation and gave me medicine that helped take the swelling down and its discomfort. And he knew the whole staff from each doctor and nurse thought that was pretty cool.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Engle and his P.A. listened attentively, and asked good questions. I appreciated Dr. Engle's approach to my ailment. They did a culture on the urine specimen that I submitted. A bacterial infection was found and the proper medication provided. This was not the case with the care that I received from the medical community where I reside.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
