#1 good listener that responds to the question asked with no apparent script. #2 Hands on - if a questionnaire with a checklist of likely responses was all that was need, the clinician would be unnecessary. Matching and correlating patients words, appearance and exam results and giving a reasoned explanation and level of concern goes so far beyond Dr Google I don't understand why many DON'T understand that.

I love Dr Amdur. One of the few docs who listen and treat a patient as an individual. Her team, Phyll (and Dominique) are wonderful as well. Dr Amdur's lobby is quite busy, but you wouldn't know if once you get in to your appointment and then you are the only patient in the room, and then you are treated like the only patient that exists during the appointment. I hope she stays on - she is one of the reasons I stay with Northwestern.
