5.0 star star star star starHe’s been very understanding of the apprehensions of being seen by a neurosurgeon and he does well in alleviating the nerves while he treats his patients to the best of his ability. He’s been a great doctor.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Khan was great with a disabled adult, made her feel very relaxed and explained anything we asked about in a way we could understand. He was very personable as well as knowledgeable which means so much, the ability to not only relay the information but do it kindly and clearly made our visit much less stressful.

5.0 star star star star starHe successfully removed my golf ball sized pituitary gland tumor. He even doubled checked and removed more. He has kept checks on me yearly with a MRI. Today, he said my MRI is clear and I can wait for 5 years for the next one. He is hero and my sight has been normal since the removal.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Khan has to be the best physician I have ever had! Not only is he an excellent surgeon but he really cares about his patients. He took the time to thoroughly explain my condition and what to expect during and after my surgery and answered any questions I may have had. He is easily accessible and quickly responds for any concern I may have. He is very patient and takes the time to listen to all of my concerns. The reality of having a brain tumor and needing surgery was pretty overwhelming but Dr. Khan and his team made sure this experience went as smoothly as possible. I know that I have had the best care that I could have asked for and I honestly wouldn't trust my brain to any other surgeon.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg. To learn more about our Disclosure and Professional Integrity Policy, and the conflict of interest policies of our joint affiliate survey partners, please go to our Office for Regulatory Affairs Policies page.
