Dr. Cohen is awesome. She has been patient, responsive, and extremely supportive at every point in this process. One example of many: when I explained in my post op visit I had been too nervous to look into the details on my surgery prior to it and was curious about the process now that it was over, she took the time to find a YouTube video and walk me through it. It was such a great full circle moment, and it made me even more impressed with her excellence as a surgeon. I am healing well and so far, less than two weeks later, I am feeling confident. I also know if I have any more questions, she will be there.

I met Doctor Cohen Downtown Chicago for my first visit. When I met her once again in the Northwestern facility in Glenview, (way closer to our home in Wauconda) I found little change in my surroundings. One Northwestern location is as fantastic as another! Doctor Cohen was so very kind. So "all-in" with my care, my issues. Her staff were so with it!!! What a wonderful experience!

She did a wonderful job diagnosing and performing the blepharoplasty. Even though I do have some visible scarring on the left eye; however, she was not dismissive and said after a longer healing process we could always look at it again. She offered several suggestions.

I know because of my myasthenia gravis, doing an eyelid lift is very tricky. And yet here I sit, looking as normal as the next person. Plus I can read, watch TV and my granddaughters won't ask me what's wrong with my eyelids. I am so happy.
