5.0 star star star star starWhen I came to NW I was misinformed about my diagnosis by my previous PA. Doctor Stephens explained everything to me and corrected the misinformation. With the correct information and a plan for monitoring my condition, I left calm, confident and ready to live my life without worry.

5.0 star star star star starDr Stephen has been thorough in exploring my heart condition, explaining treatment options, helping me find a surgeon when that was the course chosen, and following up on how my heart has performed since treatment. He takes the time to address questions and clearly reviewed my health care history before my appointment in directing his questions and examination

5.0 star star star star starHard to give a 10 when I just met him. I haven't been having problems but I moved and had to get a new cardiologist. This was basically a meet and greet. Very nice Doctor. He gave me good advice on my current situation.

0.0 star_border star_border star_border star_border star_borderGot the feeling as he entered the room he didn't really seem to care about my concerns. I also never had a doctor tell me to look on the internet for ways to deal with my issues. He mentioned 1 thing i could do if symptomatic and i expressed a concern about how i was sitting down and wasn't doing anything but brushed it off and said to look it up on the internet.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg. To learn more about our Disclosure and Professional Integrity Policy, and the conflict of interest policies of our joint affiliate survey partners, please go to our Office for Regulatory Affairs Policies page.
