5.0 star star star star starI have already recommended her to my sister. Dr. Vassallo is down-to-earth and genuinely interested in your total well-being. She will delve into your health issues beyond strictly cardiology issues. She has the rare ability to view you as a whole-person, and recognizes how health issues impact your outlook and satisfaction in life and vice versa. I wish everyone had the benefit of receiving this outstanding treatment and concern.

5.0 star star star star starAttentive. Takes her time with patient. Asks questions, which one might forget to tell her. Seniors don’t always remember what’s ailing them. If it’s something that is bothering that day, then I’ll tell her, otherwise I forget.

5.0 star star star star starDr Vassallo is unbelievably awesome. She is incredible knowledgeable and was interested in me as a unique patient. She was incredibly efficient and understood what I was trying to do in managing my health. She took what I doing with Garmin fitness products and Apple Watch and had great ideas about what to do and not to do as being too over the top. She reviewed my medications and made some changes that will yield slightly better results while reducing side effects. I have some modest heart disease that she explained in a candid, factual matter. My brother went to her for a heart condition several years ago before and he received great care. NWM should clone her for the good of humanity.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
