5.0 star star star star starExcellent doctor who is an expert in mycosis fungoitis (CTCL) & all medical students in dermatology at NW spend 6 weeks with him so that they recognize CTCL- Cutaneous T-Cell Lymphoma in their patients after their Doctorate in Dermatology. He does research & works with Cutaneous Lymphoma Foundation. He is always working on solutions to my problems & is a miracle worker. I am blessed to have him as my doctor.

5.0 star star star star starHe saved my life. After visiting 4 other dermatologists who tested everything including 120 skin patches, 4 different ointments, many biopsies, my arms and legs were full of lesions and very swollen; it was hard to walk. Dr. Guiitart spent 3 hours finding a care plan of a chemo pill, plus phototherapy and something to care for side effects of the pill. It has been a god send; there are only a few lesions now and I have energy.

1.0 star star_border star_border star_border star_borderDR. Guitart and staff were lovely .I would only recommend him to people who have t-cell lymphoma and since that is a rare cancer ,it is unlikely that I would need to make the recommendation .

5.0 star star star star starPlease see my response to the previous question. Dr. Guitart is kind, very knowledgeable, patient-centric and efficient. One gets the sense of being in very capable hands. I always leave the office reassured. I highly recommend him.

5.0 star star star star starExceptional doctor, thorough, listens to me, explains everything in detail, answers all my questions, does research for Cutaneous T-Cell Lymphoma & is so knowledgeable. As my disease has progressed he always has a solution including meds, topical creams or ointments, NB-UVB light treatments & radiation. Since September I had complicated & rare radiation with Dr. [ ] & chemo treatments with Dr. [ ] who are the best. I am fortunate to be alive because of his wonderful care. I am very blessed.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
