5.0 star star star star starI have been seeing Dr. Hansen from the very beginning of my breast cancer diagnosis six years ago. When I found out she was leaving NCH, there was no question about transferring to her new practice. I can't imagine going through this experience without her compassion, knowledge and her sense of humor, which is very much needed during this time. She is a true blessing to those who are fortunate enough to receive her care.

5.0 star star star star starI can't say enough good about Dr Hansen! From my personal experience she is an outstanding surgeon. The after care was outstanding. The follow up visits were always personal and caring. There was always a concern if I had any questions, and encouraged to reach out if I did. If not for her, my genetic testing may have never got done, she pushed it through, the results were very important for my family. Thank you Dr. Hansen!

5.0 star star star star starDr Hansen has been my saving grace. Since being diagnosed with Breast Cancer a 2nd time 5 years ago she has been a life saver. She has given me a 2nd chance. She is compassionate and caring and takes the time to comfort you when the news is not the greatest. She's always phone call away and is always there for you. I'm beyond blessed and thankful that she is my doctor. Thank You Dr. Hansen

5.0 star star star star starDr. Hansen is great. She sees you as a person and not just another patient/body. She listens and addressed all my questions and fears, sometimes before I could even verbalize them. When she switched practices, she made sure I rescheduled my cancelled appointment (I was sick the day of my original appointment) to make sure she told me personally about her move and to say goodbye. The drive to see her at the old practice was roughly the same to see her at the new practice (which was in network). Needless to say, I chose to follow her to the new practice.

5.0 star star star star starShe is the best. My surgery recovery was easier than my recovery from the biopsies or the MRI. So knowledgeable & able to breakdown test results so anyone can understand them. She never seems rushed. My case is her priority when she is with me.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
