5.0 star star star star starDr. Mulcahy is the best! Caring, empathetic, and genuinely kind. We have great conversations about my situation and she takes the time to explain everything completely and answer all of my questions. I trust my care to her without question. I refer to Dr. Mulcahy and her team as “The A-Team” because I consider them the best at Northwestern. I love working with Dr. Mulcahy and believe that I will have continuing success in my treatment because of her care and interest in my case and me.

5.0 star star star star starThe experience and knowledge she has is apparent. She listens and works well with other oncologists. I am seeing Dr. Mulcahy as my second opinion but I will take her recommendations to my local oncologist.

5.0 star star star star starDr Mulcahy is wonderful. Takes the time to explain things and answer my questions. She and the nurses—Summer and Caroline, make the whole experience much more tolerable. I feel at home and I can’t tell you what that means to me.

5.0 star star star star starI personally selected and “hired” Dr. Mulcahy as my oncologist after learning of my diagnosis. I have never had cancer or any interactions with an oncologist, so a lot of research was involved. I believed in Dr. Mulcahy’s drive and determination for good outcomes for her patients even before I met her and I was not let down in any way after my first visit. I love her thoroughness, that she studied my case and ordered tests of me to review before we met, and her sense of humor. I knew I needed to look for a doctor with whom I would be comfortable and trust and I found her. This is going to be a beautiful long-term relationship and I am looking forward to working with her for our mutual success.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg. To learn more about our Disclosure and Professional Integrity Policy, and the conflict of interest policies of our joint affiliate survey partners, please go to our Office for Regulatory Affairs Policies page.
