4.0 star star star star star_borderIn general is good after I asked questions and trying figure out my stomach issue. Still hope the doctor can have more care and empathy for the patient and be patient in explaining the causes of disease and concerns of the patient. Also I think it’s normal for the patient to having some anxiety of having stomach pain for three years. The doctor should have the spirit to find out the issue but not accusing patient being too anxious just because the patient asks more questions.

1.0 star star_border star_border star_border star_borderDr Zubair is extremely Arrogant & Argumentative and patient "Unfriendly" In our brief televisit, he already made up his mind that my condition could NOT be a reaction to Naproxen, A reaction that was already clearly evident and agreed upon by ALL my other providers, He not only Demeaned & "POO-POO'd" all that, But Arrogantly Demeaned supporting research, studies & literature done & published by prominent Research Hospitals such as Mayo Clinic & John Hopkins, Insisting they were Wrong and when I said to him "well then you better tell them that then" he Arrogantly & defiantly replied, "oh I WILL!!! I will tell them that" For him to demean other great medical research institutions that are far more established & recognized Research institutions than northwestern is, Well that is unacceptably Atrocious, and a HUGE "Red Flag"

5.0 star star star star starHe is excellent and I highly respect his knowledgeable GI background, we have had a pt/provider relationship for over 11yrs (he was the specialist who saw me inpatient and Dx me with my chronic illness). He is efficient, has a great sense of humor, very knowledgeable and he treats me with respect, as I am a health care professional myself. I only want my care with him as far as the NW medical system goes.

4.0 star star star star star_borderI have been seeing dr Zubair for close to 1 year. Today he was late to my appt and then when in the appt he was looking over my test results when in the room with me. I was not happy he decided to review my chart and results during my appt time. This should have been done prior to seeing me.

5.0 star star star star starHe was thorough in his questioning, and responded well to mine. Wanted to make sure nothing important was being missed, so he scheduled testing. Dr. Zubair, has a pleasing personality, patient to listen, and he smiled...I was comfortable with him.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
