5.0 star star star star starOf the 5 doctors I have seen for spinal injury, Dr.Carobene seemed to be the first one who took my pain level seriously and offered as close to a cure that I can get rather than more pain medicines. She was informative, took time and I left feeling I was heard and my pain was not ignored.

5.0 star star star star starDr Carobene has been very emphatic and attentive to my problems and has explained everything to my understanding. She did not rush and really took her time with me and I left the office knowing all that was needed regarding my treatment plan. She spend time with me listening to my health history and checking all my previous tests I had done over the past years. Incredible bed site manners. I felt truly connected which is so important for such circumstances. Thank you for being there!

5.0 star star star star starI've battled back pain for years. Dr. C is the first doctor I've had that really seems to want to get to the bottom of this and help me feel better. She is so good at making sure she understands my complaints and she makes sure I understand her plan for me. This was a follow up visit and my back is bad again so we are moving on with a new plan to try and tackle the problem!!

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
