From the first time I met with her I felt like I was in good hands. Dr. Stepan is kind, empathetic with a wonderful bed side manner. She immediately puts you at ease, while telling you what you need to know, now merely what you want to hear. Two weeks post op and you have to look very closely to see the incision. Very skilled.

Dr. Katelyn Stepan is just awesome! She's not only very knowledgeable and explains things well, but she listens carefully and problem solves with me. Not all surgeons have a great bedside manner. Dr. Stepan shines in this area, too. She's a most caring and compassionate physician. I feel very fortunate to have her on my care team. I'd also like to give a shoutout to Katy [last name] , Dr. Stepan's PA. She's a wonderful PA and really understands head and neck patients. Great bedside manner!

I was diagnosed with Eagle's Syndrome. Not a lot of doctors are familiar with it. I had to do my own research and started at Northwestern. I was blessed to have Dr. Stepan. She listened to my concerns and agreed that surgery would be my best option.
