5.0 star star star star starDr. Arbetter has been a godsend to me during the time that he has been my primary care physician because he is always available when an issue with my health arises (fortunately not very often). At my annual physical, we discussed all of the questions that i had and he asked me about all aspects of my health and my lifestyle. I also was given the questions for my Medicare annual physical and he did a pre-op physical that i needed for my upcoming cataract surgeries. It was so reassuring also to see the results of my blood tests and his commentary about them. All of the hard work--great nutrition and exercise--are helping; i have not "conquered" my blood pressure but I know that Dr. Arbetter is working with me to resolve it.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Arbetter has a very pleasant personality. He took the time to listen to me and answered all my questions. He also took the time to give me a printed copy of his instructions to me which is so much better than my trying to write down his instructions.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
