I had a serious problem with a Baha that closed over. I had seen him previously at Rush and knew him from problems I had that he had helped me thru. Rush had decided to stop taking my insurance and I looked all over for a dr who would be on hand in case I had any more problems. I was sent to a dr Banas where I was told she took care of bahas but no after I saw her for 4 weeks nothing. She finally recommended me to Dr Wiet at Dupage, I had no idea that he had moved and I was so relieved. She sent him a note and he remembered me, I then was called by his office and was in there that day before he went home. He was so attentive and knew I needed help immediately, the next morning he squeezed me in in the morning. I am diabetic and have a terrible time healing. He worked with my wound as he helped me get back to normal. If all doctors were like this with their patients, the world would be so much better. I have had ear problems since I was 5 and I can honestly say he is the BEST dr ever.

By all accounts, without the assistance of Dr Wiet I would have little to no hearing. He rebuilt and reinforced various locations within my inner ear, worked on the tympanic membrane and fully restored my hearing to as good, if not better, than before I had lost it in my left ear. He will never be forgotten for having done so, and I always raise his name with anyone struggling with their own hearing.
