5.0 star star star star starGreat Dr. Initial bedside manner took some getting use to but she's great and actually quite nice! She's super smart and is VERY thorough when explaining test results. You have to be involved, ask questions, challenge conventional therapies, do your homework and then have a conversation with her and she will respect your opinion and provide great counsel.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Tomic has been my oncologist for 6-years. She is detailed and thorough when making decisions about my treatment/ care-especially when receiving reports from radiologists. My husband recently became Dr. Tomic's patient.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Tomic is wonderful and I've been so fortunate to be her patient. Today, she spent great deal of time explaining my newest concern and making sure I get the follow up I require, even providing info for me to share with my daughter who also requires follow up.

5.0 star star star star starThis was my first meeting with Dr. Tomic and I felt instantly at ease with her. I felt confident that she was giving me honesty and medical directives that were thoughtful and based on the time she had spent learning my background. She even surprised me the following day by asking me how my subsequent appointments went. She is very kind!

5.0 star star star star starDr. Tomic was professional, kind, extremely intelligent and knowledgeable about my rare health issues, no matter what I asked her. She is excellent...an incredibly good doctor. She cared enough about her patient (me), whom she'd never met before, to persistently help me understand this rare disease I am just learning I have_and to get her message through to me in the precious, very short time we will ever have together of what I needed to do to save myself. I could see that she really wanted to save my life...she wanted to make a difference. I'm so grateful to her.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg. To learn more about our Disclosure and Professional Integrity Policy, and the conflict of interest policies of our joint affiliate survey partners, please go to our Office for Regulatory Affairs Policies page.
