5.0 star star star star starThe doctor and the trainer were both very thorough and took their time explaining to me what may be the problem and what I should do next. My issue is a pretty common one but when a doc still takes the time to be thorough, it always speaks volumes to me about the competence and care provided. It's easy to be dismissive or overlook things that need to be communicated to the patient so I appreciate it when I'm given the time and attention necessary.

5.0 star star star star starHe was on par with my other injuries and refers me to PT every time which I prefer for pain management. My back injury with nerve pain shooting into butt and calf needs something more than sodium naproxen. For future research, the hospital should look at other non narcotic treatments for this short term before steroid injections since it impacts quality of life / sleep.

5.0 star star star star starPrompt availability/communication with and to highly qualified and specialized practitioners who treat the person and not just the results with buy-in to the patients long-term goals for health/healing. I felt heard and supported through my injury so far.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Bennett and Laura listened to me and provided me with everything I needed for treatment including a prescription, splints, and a referral for OT as well as a referral for a specialist if my condition doesn't get better. They did all of this in 30 minutes! I'm a new mom and the last thing I need is to have to go to the doctor multiple times just for them to send me somewhere else. I'd rather be spending time with my kid. I really feel like I have what I need and it was done in an efficiently but still with kindness and care. Thank you!

5.0 star star star star starWhat a lovely experience! I had to make a last minute appointment and went with the first provider available, and Dr. Bennett was a delight. I was very nervous about the injury I was being seen for, and Dr Bennett eased my mind and provided me with a clear path forward. So grateful to him and his team!

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
