5.0 star star star star starHe is accessible even though he is one of the most busy physicians I know. Before I was even an established patient, he spent over an hour on the phone with me on a Friday evening (while on vacation) talking me through my achalasia. I come to Dr. Pandolfino from Cleveland. I have sent everyone I know with GI issues (especially achalasia) to him and to Dr. Hungness.

5.0 star star star star starDoctor is the BEST! He doesn't just listen to you..He hears you. That's IMPORTANT to me. If you ever have any questions or concerns he's right there for you. He is dependable reliable and most of all I trust him..He can't get any better then that.

5.0 star star star star starHe seemed secure in his recommendations, took other aspects of my health into consideration, explained upcoming test. He also took time to explain thoroughly how to use meds he sent me. I felt more secure on a phone call with him than some face to face visits I have experienced.

5.0 star star star star starHe gave us a lot of his time and energy. He followed up with us after our son’s procedure to make sure his recovery was progressing. We recommend him highly and will continue to see him even though we are out of state.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Pandolfino was patient and compassionate with me. He understood my symptoms and where they’re coming from. He reassured that he’s going to work with my docs to try to improve my esophageal emptying without having to remove my esophagus. He is a caring doctor and that is what we need. Achalasia is a very draining and hard esophageal condition. It messes with your mental and emotional health. The confidence I had about my career and future has been shaken this past year after my second surgery.

5.0 star star star star starIntegrity. Fidelity. Bedside manner. Modesty. Kindness. Responsiveness. Compassion. His team. Brilliance. Knowledge. Answered every single question without putting his hand on the doorknob. Didn’t stand up to try and leave while I was asking questions. Showed me the films while explaining every swallow.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
