5.0 star star star star starI felt heard by Dr. Coleman and didn't feel he was rushing to get me out the door. He spent time understanding my history and explaining how we should proceed. He proactively managed expectations around communication given his planned time out of office next week. He offered considerations for the future around possible referrals and new treatment options. I get nervous in doctor's offices, but I left today feeling comfortable and confident in how we were planning to move forwards with treatment and care.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Coleman performs in an utmost professional manner. He is kind and generous with his time. He actually listens and answers every question. He responds to questions in My Chart the same or next day. If further action is required, he acts immediately. He explained my CT scans clearly so I may understand. I recommend Dr. Coleman without reservation. He is more knowledgeable in pulmonary issues than my previous experiences with other pulmonologists. His staff is most helpful and very pleasant. He is exemplary for other physicians.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
