5.0 star star star star starThis was my first appointment. I chose Dr Ganger because of his expertise in cirrhosis and transplant surgery. I have confidence that as an expert, he will optimize my medical care to achieve the best possible outcome. Dr Ganger was well informed about my previous care, having read my past medical records. He advised a treatment plan that I have confidence in and that is clinically sound. He ordered meds and a procedure, advised me on the risks of COVID exposure. He was serious, focused, all business. I appreciated that.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Ganger is another example of the Excellent continuum of care provided by the professional and talented medical team at NorthWestern Hospital. When I arrived to meet Dr. Ganger I was under the impression that I needed a liver transplant and my pancreas organ was in severe jeopardy. Dr. Ganger clearly explained my CT scan and calmed me to know that I was not dying and with his plan I should be able to live a good life going forward. He and his assistant Emily, provided great follow up care and attention to my condition. Professional, Competent and caring medical team. Thank you and God Bless You.

5.0 star star star star starI was late about 40 minutes from my appointment today and because I received the wrong directions. When I arrived at the reception, the registered nurse checked me in because my doctor offered this late visit. Thanks to Dr. Granger a lot- I thought he could have canceled my appointment, but instead of that, he was nice and I didn't see him angry or complain. I appreciated his ethical decision making on my late visit today a lot! That was really the true value of a good doctor.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
