5.0 star star star star starHe was absolutely incredible. Was personable, friendly and LISTENED to me and gave me thoughtful feedback. He wasn’t quick to push invasive testing. My friend referred me to him because he’s so wonderful and I am very thankful for that recommendation.

5.0 star star star star starDr Pickering performs the very highest level of medical care. He carefully listens to patients concerns and correctly diagnoses the very best treatment for medical care. He is extremely personable and I highly respect him not only for his medical knowledge and patient care but also for ability to communicate at a level that a patient can understand. To me he is impeccably the very best physician one can privileged enough to be a patient. I would rate him 10+++ NMH is much better to have him!!

5.0 star star star star starHe’s top-notch in every respect that I can think of: attentive, caring, invested in the moment, exceptionally thorough, more than ready to take extra time and steps (for example, looking up the phone numbers of specialists he recommended for me). Need I add that his competence comes shining through?

5.0 star star star star starOnly not going to 10 because I’m selfish & don’t want to wait longer for appointments. He’s been my primary for years for a reason. I trust him. He takes a noticeable interest in what I am saying or asking.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg. To learn more about our Disclosure and Professional Integrity Policy, and the conflict of interest policies of our joint affiliate survey partners, please go to our Office for Regulatory Affairs Policies page.
