5.0 star star star star starI was really anxious about hip pain that I was having over the last year. Dr. Ryan Selley and his team were able to diagnose me and offer a clear path forward. All my questions were answered and the diagnosis was explained to me. Everything was very thorough and I ended up choosing to have surgery. Dr. Selley was very confident which helped put me at ease before the surgery and in the follow up appointments. Overall I'm feeling better than before surgery and I am following Dr Selley's post op protocol.

5.0 star star star star starProfessional and provides easy-to-understand analysis of procedures and progress. Courteous and welcomes feedback and (many) questions - and in my case - questions pertaining to post-op care. Dr. Selley and the Northwestern team provide (and provided) first class treatment.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Selley listened to my symptoms and told me what was happening based on X-rays and other scans I had. He worked with my insurance to get approval for surgery. While recovering at home after surgery, he called me to check in to see how I was recovering.

5.0 star star star star starI traveled 2.5 hours to Chicago to see Dr. Selley based on his knowledge and care. After 4 years of getting the run around he listened to concerns and engaged me in developing a plan for treatment and to get back to better health and mobility. He's caring, empathetic and never made me feel any of my questions were not valid. I trust him completely with my health and would not go anywhere else.

5.0 star star star star starI can't say enough great things about Dr. Selley. From the very first consultation, he took the time to listen, explain my options clearly, and make sure I felt comfortable with the plan moving forward. His professionalism, skill, and genuine care gave me complete confidence in the process. The surgery went smoothly, and my recovery has been better than I ever expected. Not only is he an outstanding surgeon, but he also has a wonderful bedside manner that makes you feel valued as a patient. I'm truly grateful for his expertise and highly recommend him to anyone in need of orthopedic care.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
