Not only did he do my surgery he did my sons [Patient's Name] and he would walk from northwestern to children's hospital to visit [Patient's Name] which really comfort him dr selley did this the Frist day after he finished his surgery for the day and second day too very professional and a serious doctor but also compassionate and he made my son feel better with his visit my son had been u feeling anxious and very stressed and Dr Selley help this go away just by explaining everything to him directly and to us as well I had never had none of the prediatric surgeons children Hospital do this before and I well this show that dr Selley is a very compassionate doctor that cares for his patients, especially when their children but I can honestly say I got the same treatment as an adult and I'm very thankful for dr Selley

Dr. Selley had to share some unfortunate news from a surgery I had (with another doctor in another state) last year but he did it with clarity and patiently answered my questions as I sorted through the information. After the appointment I had additional questions and his team was very responsive. I wish we had lived in Chicago and I had worked with Dr. Selley the first time around, it would have saved a lot of heartache and many headaches!

I've said this every time I've written a review (because it's worth my time) that Dr. Selley has made my life drastically better since our first appointment. I can tell that he's in this profession to help people and he has made my busy, hectic and "unbearable" life bearable when I felt backed into a corner. I can't stress enough how much I respect Dr Selley.

He was very straightforward and a clear communicator, very clear in explaining options. His staff is very responsive to questions or concerns. I think he did a very good job on the surgery (I've never had surgery before, so I have nothing to compare it to). I had no complications, very little pain or difficulty; it seems like the work was very clean and effective.

Clear communication. I was seen promptly, given ample information and time to answer questions. Was able to schedule MRI for the same day and follow up appt in a week. This is one of the single most important aspects of care. I waited 30+ minutes for the nurse to bring me the rx for the MRI - I think she forgot about me. Dr. Selley was apologetic as was she and I appreciated that.

Dr. Selley is an outstanding surgeon who takes his time answering any questions with thorough explanations. Immediately before I was taken into surgery he spoke with me, thereby putting me at ease. I have had gone to Rush before for treatment also with Ortho dr at northwestern for my hip as well. I can honestly say Dr Selley takes care of everything. He has great manner and explains everything and even showed me my X-rays some doctor never do this he also make sure all my appointments are done before and leave his office and if I message him to the Northwestern app, somebody always gets back to me
