5.0 star star star star starShe was great! I had a stillborn a month ago and she walked into the office and gave me a hug and she showed care and compassion. I really needed that hug and to have her show me she cared! She was the best!

1.0 star star_border star_border star_border star_borderI told her I had cramps like feeling, and noticed lower movement of the baby. And her response was if the baby moves once every 2 to 3 hours that's fine. Meanwhile all NW materials and nurses told me otherwise. Hard to know who to trust in your healthcare team.

5.0 star star star star starAmazing she was patient, informative and made information tangible and easy to understand. Was very encouraging when it comes to follow up care. Even when some of the items might be scary to consider but very gentle in her presentation. You can feel the genuine concern she has for her patients.

1.0 star star_border star_border star_border star_borderWe went in today for an ultrasound specifically to look for a neural tube defect given my last daughter having spina bifida. The ultrasound was to be immediately followed by an OB to go over the results. Upon arrival, Michon was not aware I had even had an ultrasound and in our opinion did not provide us with a detailed review of the imaging. She then explained a level one ultrasound couldn’t give great details and they don’t do level 2 ultrasounds at 16 weeks. This is objectively false as a level 2 ultrasound at 16 weeks by an MFM was how my daughters spina bifida was diagnosed. Later in the exam, after learning I had had fetal surgery in my last pregnancy, casually asked me if the baby survived - luckily she did but can you imagine if we had endured the tragic loss of our child and had to off handedly answer that question. I asked several questions during the exam that went unanswered. I will never be seeing her again and would recommend anyone with pregnant or birth trauma to avoid her.

5.0 star star star star starRuth Michon is wonderful nurse practitioner. She is thorough, informative but equally as attentive to the needs presented by her patient. I whole heartedly trust her and would refer her to other women.

5.0 star star star star starIn addition to above, Ruth creates a judgement free environment where those, such as myself, who are victims of sexual assault, are provided great communication and support through the physical assessment. I feel very comfortable voicing concern of anxiety during the physical exam thanks to the environment of trust Ruth creates.

4.0 star star star star star_borderProvider was clearly sick coughing and sneezing during visit. This leaves a very bad sense when the patients are being screened so heavily for Covid and other symptoms but the provider comes in sick.

5.0 star star star star starLove seeing her. As soon as she enters the room, there is a comfort vibe she gives off. She’s informative and always asks if I have questions. Always seems as though she really cares and treats you as a person and not just a number. . She explains and wants to make sure I understand fully. She always goes above and beyond if other services are needed she knows right where to refer to and what the next step is. She responds quickly through mychart. Has great bedside manner in a clinical setting if that makes sense. I wait another month just to be able to get in with her because her schedule is always full, but glad I wait. She is smart and experienced in her field and does a great job

Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships.
