5.0 star star star star starI mentioned them above. But let me just add that she is a world class expert with out the ego that typically comes with it. One time, she was running late and SHE took the time to stop by the exam room I was in to apologize. In my 59 years on this planet- that has never happened. She remembers what I tell her and she works hard to align her care recommendations with my values and desire for quality of life. She is priceless.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Grebenciucova spent over an hour with me discussing my condition, thoroughly explaining my treatment options and answering any questions I had about it all. She was extremely kind and compassionate. Her ability to convey pretty hefty medical subjects in a knowledgeable yet approachable and understandable way helped me immensely.

5.0 star star star star starAfter going through nearly a dozen other neurologists at Duke, Mayo Clinic, and Johns Hopkins, we are so impressed with Dr. Grebenciucova. She is light years ahead of those other institutions when it came to the care for my mother. Dr. Grebenciucova is truly an asset to Northwestern Medicine. [Patient's name]

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
