5.0 star star star star starShe is always PRESENT with our children and cares about making them comfortable while there. She’s a human being and delivers that experience. Lechman is our PCP for the kids and he provides the same… albeit a different disposition!

4.0 star star star star star_borderShe's very thorough, attentive and kind. Her medical knowledge and beside manner was very comforting to my children. However, I had to knock the score down a few notches because she cleared some wax from my child's ear that ended up causing impacted wax in her canal. My child was unable to hear out of her ear for three days. We ended up having to visit an ENT after 3 days to resolve the issue. We had no idea that a simple clearing of her ear would cause such a drastic outcome but we are grateful that our child hasn't had any complications as a result. Dr Dreifuss was attentive to the problem via MyChart and a phone call and did try to help us resolve the problem, however, it would have benefitted us from the get go if she suggested we see an ENT. Moral of this ordeal: we will only have an ENT clean our children's ears moving forward!

She was so amazing helping my daughter with a minor procedure and my daughter smiled the whole way through it.

5.0 star star star star starWe always feel she provides thorough care, listens attentively, provides ample context and rationale for her diagnosis or treatment plan, explains her thinking, and finds a great balance exercising caution without being overly cautious

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
