5.0 star star star star starHe’s awesome. Patient, interested in my history and current concerns. Great ‘bedside’ manner and his explanations regarding medications and course of treatment were very professional and easy to comprehend.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Fuqua is the only Psychiatrist/or Doctor that has been able to improve my overall mental health. When I first met Dr Fuqua my mental health was very poor. I've been seeing him now for 2 years and my mental health is the best it's ever been! Thank you Northwestern and a HUGE thank you to Dr. Fuqua! [ ]

5.0 star star star star starDoctor Fuqua treated me like a human being with some mental health issues that he is helping me with. I appreciate his professionalism and compassion. I had some horrifying experiences with my old psychiatrist. I did not get proper care and ended up spinning out completely. I am grateful he is NOT like that at all.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Fuqua listened to what I had to say. Things I could say in a safe area. I felt safe around him. Didn't feel any judgment. Actually really liked Dr. Fuqua eight off the bat. It usually takes me a while to feel comfortable with someone, but he made me feel comfortable right away. I'm looking forward to my next t appointment.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
