5.0 star star star star starDr. Terry was so good with my high school age kids. We've now seen him for two separate injuries and both times he made my kids feel hopeful, confident, and not fearful. They both hold him in high regard.

5.0 star star star star starI went thru 3 prior orthopedics prior to this visit. All told me they could not help me. This visit was different, the doctors were empathetic and cared, not just trying to get me out of the room as fast as possible without treatment and bill insurance for an office visit. Dr Terry and Dr Edelstein were great and actually explained what can be done. .rather than refer and defer me to another network. I'm super thankful.

5.0 star star star star starI have heard great things about Dr Terry and I liked his game plan going forward. The X-ray was more detailed than my prior x ray and he explained why an MRI with contrast was best to see the extent of the labrum tear.

5.0 star star star star starHe assesses and explains with care and good humor, sometimes skating metaphors, which I love ; his expertise is unquestioned, he's so smart and experienced; he involves me in discussing options for next steps, I feel heard and respected, like I contribute to the care team effort. Never had a better ortho experience. He's just great.

5.0 star star star star starTook the time to present all options (surgical and non-surgical) and explain pros/cons of each in terms of outcomes and stability for affected area. Leads an equally qualified care team of Fellows, Interns, and NPs to keep scheduling timely and efficient. Seemed like everyone was operating at the top of their respective licenses and made access easier.

5.0 star star star star starI was referred to Dr. Terry by my Neurologist Dr. [name] and I was very impressed w/Dr. Terry and his Assistant Dr. [name]. Dr. D. came in first and reviewed my complaint then Dr. T. came in and addressed what my next steps would be. Very professional and to the point. I was glad to hear I could keep getting Steroid injections until I, felt they were no longer working and then, and only then, would we be talking about surgery.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
