5.0 star star star star starShe is the third gynecologist I visited. All my doctors have been teaching faculties from premier educational hospitals like Northwestern University, NYU Langone or Northwestern Memorial. She is the only one who did not insist on surgery as the only option when I met and exhausted all other options before I agreed to surgery. This is rare among surgeons in my experience.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Watters was AWESOME. They way she took the time to repeat what she heard me say made me really feel heard. She then provided me with a plethora of options to address my issue. Lastly, she was just so relatable. I might have to specifically request her from now on!

5.0 star star star star starDr. Watters really makes such a wonderful connection between being personable and being my doctor. I saw her 7 months ago when I miscarried. I hadn’t seen her since and now today for my 16 week appointment she came in the room so excited for me and gave me a big hug. There’s something extremely comforting knowing the people caring for me and my baby actually care about us. She is truly the best of the best.

3.0 star star star star_border star_borderI like Dr. Watters - she is knowledgeable and has great bedside manner. She is never dismissive or rude, and she is a great listener. My only pause with her is when I bring up a concern, she assures me that it’s alright/common. Which, I guess is good but it makes me feel like I’m being rushed through - I guess I would appreciate a further explanation.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
