I had a cyst that was bothering me and my primary thought it was big enough to have it examined. Dr. Daniel Davila inspected it explained the situation including a simple sketch, treated it, confirmed it was not infected, and sent me away. Dr. Davila is a rare doctor. Outside of his medical knowledge he was able to explain the entire procedure; the necessity of it, how long it would take, and what to expect post-op. However, he had this ability to actually display empathy and chat with me about other topics other than the procedure. He sensed I was nervous so this chat put me at ease. Northwestern is fortunate to have a doctor that is empathetic and extremely skilled in his field of medicine. Thank you to Dr. Davila.
