0.0 star_border star_border star_border star_border star_borderI want to file a complain against Dr. Mayer, The doctor play with my medical case, made FCE to me with out tell me on 07/27, when I returned to see him on 08/04 he denied that he ordered the FCE and stopped my work harding program and was so mad and angry, but he considered that and returned me to the work with three restrictions without discuss that with me, he gave me the paper as it's off from my work on the clinic hallway and run inside the clinic. I contacted my primary care doctor to refer me to another orthopedics but the nurse of Dr. Froosov "I think her name is Nelle" said that Dr. Froosov reject to see me as a second opinion because Dr. Mayer called him and refuse to let him have me!! At that time my Work Hardening stopped because my personal insurance not cover it and dr. Mayer denied to approve me to have at least PT under my insurance coverage. I forced to visit Dr. Mayer again to ask him to add more restriction to my work letter and ask him to approve me to have PT under my insurance because my back in sever pain. After long argue he added the restrictions and approved me for PT and he said he didn't trust any other place except NW PT to continue my sessions. I lost all my appointments at Ability lab PT because Dr. Mayer rejected to let continue my PT and insisted to let me have WH on very far location on NW medicine. Which I couldn't drive for. My back hurts a lot and Dr. Mayer insisted to continue what he do although I complained and contacted him many times by My chart. I tried to do a little social activity on my church on 08/19 which ended me to go to the ER in sever pain and almost paralyzed my legs. I saw Dr. Mayer on 08/26 after I had evaluated with the PT of NW medicine on 08/25, but Dr. Mayer insist to give me only 5 days off from my work and send me with the same restrictions on his previous letter. I called the Patient relation and they advice to see my primary care doctor, I saw her on 08/27 and she referred me to see another ortho. and PT outside the NW as I asked her for. I want to file a complain against Dr. Mayer and I have all the written evidence that he lied and sheeted my for my work benefit which deteriorate my medical health and my work injury on my lower back.

5.0 star star star star starHe’s the best!! Very friendly and easy to talk to and especially for myself being a post polio patient of his. He defines ‘bedside manner’ to the fullest and highly professional.

1.0 star star_border star_border star_border star_borderHe did not listen to my concerns. Believes sending me to PT before identifying the root of the problem is the way to go even when I expressed my dissatisfaction. He was rude and condescending. I will not return to his office. If I am unable to find a doctor who is willing to listen to my concerns I will be switching to Advocate.

0.0 star_border star_border star_border star_border star_borderI had a very disheartening visit with Dr. Mayer as a result of disrespectful statements made towards me as a result of tardiness to the appointment. I greatly wish he had cancelled and asked I rescheduled for another time rather than talk to me the way that he did. I felt very belittled and disrespected as a result and will be canceling any future appointments with him.
