5.0 star star star star starGod used his expertise to open an almost completely blocked artery restoring health and function. I didn't think there was hope because local Doctors couldn't open my LAD. The team at Northwestern did.

5.0 star star star star starExcellent caring fellow doctor. He called me a little while ago to check on me five days after the procedure. Easy going manner but is available to answer questions when needed. Inspires confidence.

5.0 star star star star starAs stated above, he is not my primary Physician, but treated me as though I was his top priority. He also spoke with Dr. [full name] and provided her with information that helped her move forward in my treatment plan. Every time we are at Northwestern, we see teamwork at its best! Everyone is always pulling in the same direction... for patient benefit!

5.0 star star star star starDr Flaherty and the Fellow that assisted in my procedure were amazing. Dr Flaherty reviewed the records and images from my hospital where I reside and found a safer procedure with less risk to handle my issue. He is the best of the best! I idolize him!

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
