Bio

Dr. Coleman has been with Northwestern Medicine since 2014. Known for her exceptional compassion, Dr. Coleman is deeply committed to treating the whole person and to partnering with patients to ensure care aligns with their values and goals. She uses the most up-to-date radiation treatment techniques to deliver personalized, evidence-based care. Dr. Coleman works closely with multidisciplinary oncology and surgical teams to provide coordinated, comprehensive treatment. Dr. Coleman led the development of the Intracranial Stereotactic Radiosurgery Program in the north suburbs. In 2025, she assumed the role of medical director of Radiation Oncology for Northwestern Medicine’s north region where she is recognized as a collaborative and supportive leader. Outside of her clinical and leadership roles, Dr. Coleman is a devoted wife and mother who values work-life balance and brings that same sense of humanity and care to every aspect of her work.

As I said above. I was impressed with the amount of time she spent with me and my daughter explaining the reasons behind opting for radiation treatment. I never felt rushed nor unable to ask questions. Very good bedside manner.

Best radiology oncologist I have met. She started the meeting wanting to know me as a person, my concerns, my goals , my other health issues. She gave me choices, with pros and cons, and gave me advice and options that no one so far had done. On a 1-5, she is a 10!
