5.0 star star star star starDr. Welch was great. This was a follow up visit and thankfully I was doing much better. The original treatment plan worked very well and Dr. Welch also explained everything to me in simple terms and told me what to do in the future if this reoccurs. He also answered my dumb questions without making me feel bad !!!!! I'm glad I have him as a doctor now and feel very good about any upcoming care I may need.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Welch's expertise was evident, and he went out of his way to make sure I understood my diagnosis and the available treatment options. Before each procedure, he walked me through what to expect and the possible results, which put me at ease.

5.0 star star star star starDr Welch was extremely thorough and explained everything to my husband and I. If I had questions he answered them and didnt make me feel rushed. The amount of knowledge he has isn't something you find at any "ENT" Highly recommend

5.0 star star star star starI liked his manner. I liked his energy. I like what his staff said about him prior to examination. I also like that he was no nonsense, but not soulless, not robotic_which is a tricky balance for doctors. Right? They need to provide care in the allotted time without losing their sense of humanity. And without failing to see the humanity in the patient. He also seemed to welcome the input from my endodontist who recommended I see an ENT. He could've easily dismissed the endodontist, but he did not and promised to take both the scans that the endodontist provided, and his report, into consideration.

5.0 star star star star starWas very comfortable from the get go with Dr Welch. He explains everything, answers my silly question, and makes me fell like we are tackling my 10+ years of sinus issues to a manageable place, not just sticking a bandaid on it till the next infection!

5.0 star star star star starIt is over 8 years since cancer diagnosis and multiple complications from radiation damage to brain. He has done several surgeries. Constant post operative visits on a non compliant patient. Beyond grateful for his care.

5.0 star star star star starDr Welch has emphatic bedside manner & put me at ease. He answered my questions satisfactorily, in language I could understand. He helped refer me to other Specialists and I am comforted that he will be following along with them. I have full confidence in his abilities.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
