5.0 star star star star starDr Raizer has been helpful since I started at NW Medicine a few years ago including looking closer at the brain blood flow restriction caused by my tumor colluding the carotid artery . Also he helped me get off the anti seizure meds that after not taking for 6 months, I feel more clear minded than for a long time.

5.0 star star star star starHe and his staff take the time to listen to your concerns and questions and give answers a layman can understand. Sometimes I wait a bit, but I realize they are giving this same attention to other patients - who probably have more complex problems. It’s a long trip to their office, but their treatment makes the extra effort worth it.

5.0 star star star star starDR. RAIZER IS A THOUGHTFUL AND THOROUGH PHYSICIAN. HE TAKES THE TIME TO LOOK AT THE WHOLE PERSON IN ADDITION TO THE IMMEDIATE DIAGNOSIS. HE SHARES HIS THINKING BEHIND ANY DECISIONS FOR CARE THAT HE MAKES AND HIS DECISIONS ARE WELL THOUGHT OUT AND IN THE BEST INTEREST OF THE PATIENT.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
