5.0 star star star star starI have been a patient of Dr. Bendre since 2014 and have had multiple surgeries performed by him on both of my hands. His expertise and knowledge are exceptional, and he consistently provides thorough, thoughtful guidance. He communicates clearly and makes patients feel at ease. Despite I moved 35 miles away, I still seek his care because I have complete trust in his skills and judgment. The quality of service and professionalism he provides are outstanding. Wish he was connected to Northwestern Hospital in downtown Chicago.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Bendre gave me a very detailed explanation of my condition and included the details of the surgery needed to remove a cyst from my finger. His very detailed explanations convinced me that he would be a great surgeon for my condition.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Bendre is very good. He listens to you and tries to help you with your pain. He tries first the non-surgical route and if that doesn't work and nothing else works he will do the surgery. I like that surgery is not the first option. He did do hand surgery on me 7 years ago with a great result. that is why when my other hand started to hurt I came back to him

5.0 star star star star starDoctor Bendre is an exceptional surgeon that is pragmatic with his approach and empathetic. I use my hands a lot in my profession which requires fine motor control and Doctor Bendre was understanding and reassuring by telling me that he is treating my hand as if it was his own. He is the perfect example of the NM mission to deliver accessible excellent healthcare!

5.0 star star star star starI'd give a 20 out of 10 if I could. Never felt so quickly before like I was getting the straight story AND going to be in the best hands possible. I've literally spent the entire afternoon after this mornings appointment telling upwards of 15 people so far that I've got the best possible surgeon one could get and don't know how I got so lucky.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
