1.0 star star_border star_border star_border star_borderHe didn’t really seem to want to spend any time in our visit. He wasn’t particularly empathetic or interested in hearing about my sleep needs. He immediately said he doesn’t know that much about sleep and seemed to want to push me off onto a specialist. I told him about some information I had seen about a new medication that I wanted to try, and he said he wasn’t aware of the information (that it helps with staying asleep and isn’t habit-forming) and that I should see a sleep doctor. I told him I had already done a sleep study years ago which found no physical issues with my sleep, but he wasn’t interested in that either. He did instantly write me the prescription I requested, which was helpful. I frankly also appreciate his efficiency on the call, not wasting my time although it seemed he was mostly interested in not wasting his. But I was also checking to see if he might be a suitable fit for me in light of Dr. Pearson’s retirement, and the answer is no.

4.0 star star star star star_borderOverall, I really liked meeting with Dr. Hunt. He was very patient, easy to talk to and thorough when explaining. I am disappointed in the office’s time management though. I did not get called until an hour after my appointment time and I was 30 minutes early. That’s 1.5 hours of waiting. The nurse was very cold and short too. The office seems unorganized or understaffed.

3.0 star star star star_border star_borderI was devastated by the loss of Dr. Pearson who had always been so supportive & had a good understanding of my issues. When one has a ME/CFS diagnosis as well as having developed a chronic pain issues that began later. I also recently lost my neurologist & cardiologist (both also advocates) and feel lost myself. Dr. Hunt can across as if he considered me & my "issues" a problem for him. How best to offload me ASAP. Clearly disturbed by my Norco Rx. Since ME (2009), I haven't been able to much of anything which is hard to bear, especially being on my own. I worked to get my Rx as low as it was...just enough to mostly be able to deal with. He did not seem interested in my ME issues, etc. Seemed to have seen a red flag with the Norco. Agreed to Rx my next 2 weeks. Referring me to NW Pain Clinic, I called that morning held for an extensive time, then accepted the option to leave a message for call back. No return call so far. The Dr. He recommended has horrible reviews. Having had number horrible experiences with new Doctor's...this morning I am thinking that giving up Doctors might be the best option.

5.0 star star star star starHe shows care and concern. He takes the time to be sure all questions are answered. He makes sure that if he can't help fix the problem, he will always refer you to a Specialist or another Doctor who can and will.
