5.0 star star star star starDr Rosen took time out of busy work schedule to carefully look at my medical records and recommended alternative treatments. Greatly appreciate his advice and support! Also greatly appreciate Ally support with submitting, scheduling appointments.

5.0 star star star star starDr Rosen is absolutely fantastic. We are so happy we were able to get him to do the intensive reconstructive surgery. It had been an extremely long, rocky 2025 and this surgery was the light at the end of the tunnel. Dr Rosen met with us a few times for the pre surgical tests. He explained everything in layman terms and made us feel extremely at ease. The surgery went off without any surprises. Dr Rosen and his team of doctors - Dr [name], Dr [name], the NPs, PAs - Erica, Jennifer, nurse Ally have been extremely supportive and provided timely information and feedback connected to my recuperation. Today, I had my post surgical checkup. Dr Rosen gave the referral for a couple of Drs he had trained in Knoxville, TN. This will provide the continuity of care since I'll need lifelong monitoring. He again went through everything in simple detail and made us feel extremely at ease. Dr Rosen prefers to take a slightly conservative approach in recovery, particularly since he specializes in reconstructive surgeries. It had been a long journey, but then "all is well that ends well."

5.0 star star star star starYou could say something like this: "Dr. Michael J. Rosen is truly one of the best. He took his time, never rushed, and always prioritized my care. Even though my hospital stay was longer, he made sure I was fully stable before discharge, never letting external pressure influence his decisions. I'd highly recommend him_10/10!"

5.0 star star star star starBest Surgeon in the USA. Keep him on this team and in this country. I heard he was good, I wasn't expecting excellence. I'll pick him hands down before anyone else if I ever need another surgery.

5.0 star star star star starDr Michael Rosen is FEARLESS! He took on my very complex case when the others in the department were scratching their heads and passing me off to one another. He is always positive even when the news isn't great. Wonderful bedside manner.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Michael Rosen was recommended to me by fellow surgeon, Dr. [full name], of the DULLY system. My case involves a complex hernia situation. Dr. Rosen gave wise counsel as how to best proceed with a non-surgical solution.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Rosen has changed my perception of Northwestern. I've been a patient in the Northwestern system for almost 20 years, with some very negative experiences. My experience with Dr. Rosen was incredibly positive. He solved my issue with surgery, was personable and kind, and explained everything in a way I could understand without sounding condescending. Dr. Rosen and his team took great care of me before, on the day of, and after my surgery.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
