5.0 star star star star starHe was so patient in how he explained things and responded to us. He has an exceptional bedside manner towards my elderly parents and me. He was very thorough and cared about us fully understanding. Even with questions where my parent didn't agree/ in denial about something, he responded so delicately yet still directly and truthfully.

5.0 star star star star starHe listens carefully, seems knowledgeable, explains things thoroughly and clearly. He seemed to care about our particular needs and situation, not just generally. I loved it that he made eye contact and he used a Ticonderoga pencil and paper to take notes and that he was not typing on a computer and looking at a computer screen!!!!!! In the midst of the concerning parts of the diagnosis, he also emphasized what was still going well

5.0 star star star star starSince my stroke in October, Dr Larson was the first physician to explain in detail why I am having the results I am. Dr Larson made it a point to explain everything in terms that my husband and I could understand. We are extremely grateful for the care and information he has provided and would recommend him and his team to anyone.

5.0 star star star star starI was thankful to be able to spend about four hours with Dr. Larson. He was kind professional intelligent and very insightful and informative. I felt that Dr. Larson truly cared about finding as much information or data as he could so that he had the best and most complete understanding of my current issues.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg. To learn more about our Disclosure and Professional Integrity Policy, and the conflict of interest policies of our joint affiliate survey partners, please go to our Office for Regulatory Affairs Policies page.
