Dr Armstrong was warm and friendly. She was happy to explain information in a way that acknowledged she understood I was educated but I may not be familiar with that particular aspect of birth. Most healthcare professionals “talk down” to you and it can be very demeaning. She was a breath of fresh air and I left feeling confident in her delivering my child.

Dr. Armstrong was a great model of patient-centered care. She was very friendly, direct, and thorough. She answered all of my questions, listened to my values and priorities, and made recommendations for me that clearly indicated she took me seriously. She had clearly read my chart ahead of time and knew my relevant medical history walking into the room. I wish I could guarantee she would be the one on call when I go into labor.
